ASPIRE SUMMER READING
In addition to grade-level summer reading, Tampa Prep offers ASPIRE (“A Summer Program in Reading Enrichment”) to inspire pleasure reading. Faculty, administration, and staff may choose a book to sponsor--fiction or non-fiction--one of which students will sign up to read over the summer and then meet for a discussion in the fall. We encourage you to spend time reading through the book blurbs, making a list of your top three choices. Discussion groups are limited to 15 students, so signing up early will offer a better chance for students to get into their top choice. Review ASPIRE book choices for Middle School and Upper School.
After the initial submission, a copy of the completed sign up form will be sent to the address used. Additionally, a reminder email, sent mid-way through the summer, will be sent to the same email address confirming the ASPIRE book students are responsible for reading.
NEW STUDENTS - To sign up for an ASPIRE book, choose the appropriate link below and complete the form. Be sure to enter your email address correctly to ensure you receive a confirmation email (you may need to check your spam folder).

AP SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS
Students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses for the upcoming school year may be required to complete a summer assignment. These assignments serve the dual purposes of both reviewing relevant material learned last year and previewing material for the AP course. It is essential that all students complete each assignment, and do so in a thorough and timely manner. The assignment may constitute part of an early assessment for the course. All AP summer assignments are posted below.
