Major Dates Calendar for the 2021-2022 School Year
REMINDER: Tampa Prep will return to classes on-campus five days per week on Monday, March 29. More detailed information is forthcoming. The week we return from break we will remain in hybrid mode. (Tuesday, 3/23 and Thursday, 3/25 are C days; Wednesday, 3/24 and Friday, 3/26 are D days.) Have a great spring vacation!

2021 Declamations
Like almost everything else in 2020-21, Tampa Prep's longstanding tradition of grade-level declamations was held with a twist this year. Our hybrid schedule and the use of Zoom allowed us to publicly celebrate more of the strong writers and performers than we usually can with an in-person competition. Because the traditional second round of community judges was not feasible this year, all winners in English classes performed their speeches at grade-level assemblies. Guest judges and English teachers agreed this year's speeches were some of the strongest they've heard. We are proud to be able to highlight so many students' accomplishments.

Coloring the Community Club Creates Mural for Local Charity
Members of the Coloring the Community Club recently completed a months-long effort to paint a mural to be donated to The Spring library.

Hailey Chea, Olivia Aguilar, Luba Suravneva, and Naomie Dussault organized the UNICEF Club drive this past month. They requested items in support of the Children's Home Network, and managed to collect well over 100-150 items. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Congratulations to the 2021 Battle of the Books team!📚
On Monday and Tuesday, we held our Battle of the Books tryouts during lunch. 9 students tried out for a total of 5 spots. The team will be participating in a virtual Battle of the Books competition along with other local independent schools.
