"FIRST WEEK" OF SCHOOL FOR UPPER SCHOOL STUDENTS

Juniors depart for Pisgah National Forest. Details have been shared with juniors and their families and may also be found on this page of the parent portal on our website.
Week of August 15
Back to school activities begin the week of August 15 for students in grades 9, 10, and 12 (11th grade departs for Pisgah on August 14). There will be no overnight trips during the first week of school for grades 9, 10 and 12, but there will be a full day of activities off-campus for each Upper School grade level. Details for each grade are given here

The English Department and AP classes have required reading and assignments for students during the summer months. 2022-2023 SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS
ACCESS TO SCHEDULES IN MYTAMPAPREP Student schedules for the 2022-2023 school year will be available via MyTampaPrep by the week of Aug 8th. NOTE: NEW students should access MyTampaPrep using their parents' login information. If you need help logging into MyTampaPrep email mtpinfo@tampaprep.org or call 813-251-8481 ext. 4055.
iPADs & APPS iPad 10th generation or newer - WiFi only - 64GB or greater - please refer to iPad Specs.
Please do not wait, if you need to purchase an iPad, as shipping delays may impact availability.
HEALTH FORMS IN MAGNUS Please see these INSTRUCTIONS about using Magnus, our health form portal. These forms are now PAST DUE and must be submitted immediately. ALL families can access their 2022-2023 Magnus forms through MyTampaPrep.
TEXTBOOKS & SUPPLIES The majority of our course content is available digitally via students' iPads. Any additional course content will be purchased either by the School (and distributed to students), or purchased directly by the student. FOR NEW STUDENTS
TECH TRAINING
All new students will receive an hour-long iPad tech training at the end of the summer so that every new student is ready to go when school begins.

PLACEMENT TESTING AND COURSE SCHEDULING
Placement testing recommendations will be entered directly into MyTampa Prep. If your child took placement tests on May 14, the information is already posted. There is another placement testing date available for new students on August 4th.
All students (new and returning) should have completed your course requests. If you have not, please contact Mr. Franz at rfranz@tampaprep.org immediately.
